Cost of cars in 1973/1974?
I have a 1974 Ford LTD, and I was wondering how much it cost when it was new? It has a 400 V8 engine, and it's a base model, but it has vinyl roof, electronic trunk release button in the glove box, and remote mirrors.
Could anyone tell me? maybe someone who worked at a car dealership in the '70s, or bought a car in the '70s, or just happens to know what cars cost in the '70s?
Oh BTW Preferably in Canadian money, but if u only know what the cost is in american money, that will still give me a general idea.

Where can I earn money quickly before christmas?
With all the disconnect notices, and request from the kids for christmas I just cannot keep up. Where can I find a job quickley to earn some christmas present money before christmas w/o all the stuff employers put you through.
A good bet is to work waiting tables. They usually don't have much training unless you're in a high-profile chain and the hours aren't all that bad depending on what type of establishment.
Also 24hr chains are always looking for night staff or stock-people. Babysitting other peoples kids could be an option, some kind of flier in your local supermarket could tempt holiday shoppers who are toting their screaming brats around to call you up. Housecleaning is also good, depending on what area you live in. Gift wrapping. Im reaching. If you get a foodservice or clerk position and pick up some sort of sidework like lawn care or something, that could give you some christmas cash.
You could also choose alternate gifts of minimal expense, explaining that its the thought that counts. Any child old enough to know there's no santa should be able to understand that they are lucky to get gifts at all, because some kids don't.

Greed of Short Sale Investors
The first question is usually not about the investors' greed, but about how they are screwing the home buyer. Real estate agents will defend that they have a right to get their client the best deal possible. I like that. That's what they should do. The issue then becomes what is the best deal they can get on their own, not what is the best deal an investor, who either is, or has, experienced negotiators and integral knowledge of how the short sale process works. So even though an investor provides the acceptable short sale discount in a timely fashion (as most buyers are either relocating or moving out of a previous place of residency and likely have just a couple months of a window to find a new place to live), the buyer should be entitled to this discount.
WRONG! If it was up to a real estate agent, and I don't blame them for not being any more proficient at negotiating short sales, the negotiation process would take between 3 and 12 months and would result in a much higher short sale payoff amount. Thus, the buyer would pay more. Of course this is not the agents fault, they are getting paid less than full commission and they have to do two jobs.
And I have never found a buyer that wanted anything less than a good deal. A good deal, then, would involve getting a house for less than it's worth, right? And therefore, they are trying to profit immediately when purchasing a home, no different than what an investor is trying to do. If they weren't trying to make money on their purchase/investment then they should be happy at whatever price they feel is fair. Yet, this is not the case. Buyers = greedy.
The second fault of the greedy investor is that he is "screwing" the lender out of money. This is really only an issue because tax payer money is going to them. I can tell you this, if no investor made another dollar on a short sale, these banks would still take all of the money that was offered to them. And in return they don't lend it out, and rarely help homeowners stay in their property for more than a year. Remember that these are the same people who developed "subprime loans" and "predatory lending" in order to get more money in a seemingly flawless economy. Lender = Greedy.
The last complaint of the greedy short sale investor is that they are taking advantage of the homeowner. When a homeowner has no other option they can only short-sale their property and keep a foreclosure off of their property. The best chance of getting a completed short sale is to use an experience professional person who understands the process and specializes in negotiating short sales. This is not real estate agent. It could be an attorney, but if the homeowner can't pay their mortgage where are they going to get their money to pay them? Even an attorney won't negotiate a short sale as effectively as an investor. Why? Why would they? They get their money up front, win or lose, they get paid. Not really a win-win situation.
The second part of this argument, then, is the investor exposing the homeowner to a larger deficiency judgment? If the bank were to go after the debtor/homeowner for the payoff deficiency they would first of all have to have a reasonable belief that the debtor had the money to pay them. Otherwise they'd just be wasting money on court costs and attorneys (still not working for free). Even if the lender pursues the deficiency judgment, the deficiency is always much, much less as a short-sale than it is a foreclosure and REO sale later. And if You Don't have an experienced negotiator you may never find out if your property had the opportunity to be sold via short sale. Not to mention, most short sale investors will remove themselves from the transaction if there is not enough of a spread between what they negotiate and what a buyer will pay.
You really can't lose if you're the homeowner, unless you allow an inexperienced short sale negotiator, or an over-worked and under-paid real estate agent to handle your short sale negotiations and you don't successfully short sale your property before foreclosure.

Mini Storage Packing Tips
Mini storage has many different uses as both long-term storage and short-term storage. People may use it to hide presents for a short time for until a birthday, anniversary or other occasion. Or they may use it to put small item then need out of the way while making, cleaning. Remodeling or doing another activity where space within the house has to be clear. There are also people who use mini storage to keep items that they care about safe because they feel like they are not properly secure while inside of their place of residence. The uses listed above are only some of the many uses that mini storage has.
When a person is packing for a trip and has some items that need to be left behind or shipped at a latter date by someone who they know they may get mini storage. Some people do not think to check the size that they will be getting ahead of time so may need so exercise their packing skills. Packing skills means that you need to know how to arrange everything in a way where all the items will fit and still be safe. This normally means that the most durable items or heaviest items should go very close to the bottom. You should always remember when packing these item though that you want to make sure that nothing gets scratched or hurt by another piece, so even if a piece is very heavy you may have to move it elsewhere if it could possibly get scratched or badly damaged in any way.
One of the things a person should look into before they put their items in mini storage is if the mini storage type they have chosen, along with location is secure and safe for their items. Many people chose to have mini storage to keep items that are valuable or family heirlooms, which can mean that security of the item being stored is important. When you are looking for an area to rent your mini storage from you should first and for most check security. This mean you may want to use your home computer or take a trip to your local library to use theirs.
The first thing you will want to know is if the place you are looking to rent from has ever had any previous brake ins. You may then want to find some customer reviews if any are available so that you can find out what experiences other people had with the company you are thinking of using. This can be very helpful and give you more information that otherwise may not have been brought to your attention. You will also want to ask someone who works on site if there is always someone on site and if there are security cameras so that your storage unit is in view of the security precautions.
When a person is using mini storage they should also remember to not put items in their storage container that need to have their surroundings be a specific temperature. Some items such as wine or specific types of containers and paper may need to have a temperature that is constant to make sure that they are to damaged while in storage. With wine if it is not kept at the correct temperature it turns into vinegar, just as some seals on older styles envelopes have the possibility of melting. Some of the time special storage rentals can be found which are called climate controlled storage units where you can keep items much as wine or other items and change the temperature as need, or to suit what you feel would be best. Wine can be very important to a person especially if they where collected for sentimental reasons which can mean that keeping them safe is the top priority, even if you are not able to have the ones you need stored at your place of residence.
At some storage centers, you can find mini storage that is also climate controlled. For instance, if you are saving that special wine from a wedding or party from long ago for an occasion that is coming up, you can save it there until you will need it. In addition, you could save it for until you are ready t give it to the next generation of your family as an heirloom to lets them know of their families, or parents love and devotion or the great times that they had.

Short Sale 101
This article will attempt to address the following:
1. Define a short sale
2. Talk about the different ways it can come about and be structured
3. Talk about how it’s different that foreclosure or bankruptcy
4. Talk about the implications for the seller
5. Talk about the implications for the buyer
6. Address investor related questions on capitalizing on short sales (which you will soon find based on the definition is not really what you investors are looking for)

Definition:
A short sale is an “arrangement” between the current owner of a home and the bank that lent them the money to buy their home to accept an offer for less than the total amount owed to pay off the home. The “deficiency” is the difference between the amount owed and what the bank collects at the short sale.
Although, the “arrangement” can take many different forms, there is no other definition of a short sale. I say this because many realtors and some investors simply throw the term around as if it meant “a sale under market value.” No. A bank owned (foreclosed) house is not a short sale. A seller deciding to lower their price and take less profit is not a short sale. An old lady that owns her home free and clear, selling a $150k home for $75k, IS NOT A SHORT SALE. For it to be a Short Sale, someone must be getting “shorted.” Either the seller, or the bank. I will explain how both of those happen in more detail presently.
Free Foreclosure List
Another important definition of a short sale is how it differs from foreclosure. In foreclosure, the homeowner falls way behind on their payments and the bank repossesses the house and sells it. In almost all cases, THE BANK PURSUES THE HOMEOWNER FOR THE DEFICIENCY!!! No one seems to know or believe this, but just ask someone who has gone through foreclosure, they will tell you the only way out of this was to file bankruptcy.
How It Can Happen - The Arrangement
Most short sales arise when a seller owes more on their house than they can sell it for (upside down). The owner of the home then attempts to make an arrangement with their lender to sell the house for less than is owed.
The term “arrangement” was used in the definition and is intentionally broad because the arrangement depends on the bank that holds the loan. Though there are general practices, every bank does it differently. This article will give you the most common arrangements, but if you take part in a short sale, it’s crucial you assume nothing until you have the bank’s policies in writing.
There are some overriding principles:
1. There is no such thing as a free lunch. This is not some dream come true alternative to foreclosure where the money you owe magically disappears. The deficiency will be accounted for. The deficiency can be 100% loaned to the seller in the form of a promissory note, which they then must repay. If any portion of the deficiency is “written off” meaning that the bank eats it, you can be sure that they will report it as 1099 income to the seller or even as a judgment which will show on your credit for 10 years (not 7 years, 10 years).
2. It is a cumbersome process. If you are entering into a short sale as a buyer or seller, don’t expect it to go as quickly as any other sale. There’s a lot of “back and forth”.
3. The employees of the lender that are negotiating the sale ARE NOT there for the benefit of the seller. Their only goal is to collect as much money possible for the lender and they will use whatever means necessary. You can be sure they will misrepresent their own policies and flat out LIE to the seller in order to intimidate and scare them into paying more money. If you think I’m exaggerating, the joke will be on you.
For instance, I was once told by a lender negotiating a short sale that, as a policy, they don’t “write off” any of the deficiency and that the seller would have to have a promissory note for $40,000. This lender also told the seller that their hands were tied and this decision came directly from the investor who provides the money for the lender. The lender also said there is absolutely no negotiation on the amount owed, either pay the deficiency, or they will foreclose. The lender made the promissory note very manageable (20 years 0%) so that the seller would be more enticed to just roll over.
But the seller called the lenders bluff. The seller then provided a letter from an attorney stating they would qualify for a bankruptcy, thus rendering the lender incapable of collecting anything. That same day, the lender called the seller saying they would reduce the promissory note and write off $30,000 of the debt! It would have to be reported as 1099 income, but it would not have to be paid. Amazing change of policy! Then the seller saw what was happening and just said, “no thanks, we don’t want to owe you anything, we’ll just go ahead with the bankruptcy.” Two days later the seller received a written offer that the lender would completely forgive the debt and simply report it as 1099 income! Wow!
The moral of the story is that the lenders will LIE to obtain their money. Many of the managers of the collections departments are paid on COMMISSION on how much they collect. Just imagine if that seller had rolled over on the first offer! That employee would have been responsible for keeping $40,000 of his company’s money with one five minute phone call!
One other important thing to remember is that if the lender gets the property back (i.e. short sale doesn’t go through), they have to put it up for auction. This creates the risk that additional money will be lost if the house doesn’t sell for what it’s worth. In the case of the example, the short sale offer was for $550,000, and the amount owed was $590,000. The seller faxed in evidence to the lender that most similar houses in the area were now selling for $480,000. So this enabled the seller to make the argument that it was a much more prudent risk to write off $40,000 instead of running the risk of losing $110,000. This enabled the seller’s representative to intimidate the employee of the lender asking him “did he really want to be responsible for losing his company $110k, when he had the option, right now, to settle for 40k?”
If it seems like I know a lot about “this example” it would be because I was the mortgage broker for the people making the offer and seller of the property happened to be my wife.
The Details of the Arrangement
Different banks have different policies. The best case scenario is to get a bank that actually “writes off” the deficiency. All that happens here is that the seller has some minor derogatory credit reporting, but doesn’t actually owe the bank any more money. This credit reporting can consist of anything from “creditor settled for less than the amount due” all the way to “foreclosed.”
As the example noted, many banks will do a promissory note for the deficiency.
Some banks are stupid enough to require that the deficiency be paid at closing. Think about it. This does no good because it’s the same thing as the seller selling their house without doing a short sale and simply bringing cash to the table. If a bank tells as seller they need to bring cash to the table in a short sale, they are either idiotic, or more likely LYING.
In cases where the money is “written off” it’s important to understand that the lenders will never actually “write something off.” In most states (I don’t know the law in every state), the lender has the ability to show any deficiency as 1099 income for the seller. All this really means is that the seller has to pay taxes on that income. Depending on one’s situation, it could mean that people that are dependent on some form of aid because of “low income” will have some explaining to do come tax time.
Another way that the deficiency can be written off is in the form of a judgment. This will often occur in conjunction with the 1099 reporting. It might say something on the seller’s credit report such as “judgment filed against John Doe in the amount of $xx,xxx by ABC lender.” This will appear in the “public record” section of the seller’s credit report for 10 years (7 years is only for late payments, 10 years for public record info, don’t argue, trust me). It can either show up as satisfied or unsatisfied. Satisfied is obviously better because it means that the worst thing that can happen is that the lender will report 1099 income.
Unsatisfied could be a problem, because it means that a court has found in favor of the lender to collect the deficiency from you. Now they still might simply do the 1099 thing, or they might try to collect it from you. They can keep trying to collect it from you until they get it. They can garnish your wages. Your only hope then is that you qualify for a chapter 7 bankruptcy.
This brings up an important note. NEVER EVER ASSUME THAT A DEBT THAT YOU OWE A LENDER IS GONE UNLESS YOU HAVE THE DETAILS OF THE RELEASE OF THAT DEBT IN WRITING. For instance, someone who had done a short sale had a first and a second loan. The bank agreed to the short sale, which ended up being enough to pay off the first loan, but not the second. The seller had assumed that because the bank agreed to the short sale that they wouldn’t have to worry about the deficiency from the second mortgage. Now they are surprised that they are being pursued for the deficiency. REMEMBER, the lender(s) will always want ALL their money accounted for somehow. NEVER assume something is written off unless you have a formal, signed, written, unconditional release of lien and/or judgment from the lender specifically stating that no further action to collect this debt will be taken.
How did we get to this place in the first point?
A short sale can come about for many different reasons. In my wife’s case, she was the owner of the house and had been making payments. We bought an investment property and put it solely in her name to protect our family in the event that the market took a turn for the worse. It did. We owed 590k, but the best offer we had after 6 months was 550k. The short sale prevented her from having to file bankruptcy, and there was no derogatory credit reporting because there were no late payments made.
Despite popular belief, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE BEHIND ON YOUR MORTGAGE TO REQUEST A SHORT SALE. You just have to demonstrate that your house can’t be sold for what you owe.
In other cases, short sales happen when a seller can’t afford to make their payments and is nearing foreclosure or bankruptcy. It makes life much more complicated if you are living in the house in question. The bank’s ability to scare you is much greater in that case. In this case, a short sale is only slightly better than the alternatives. You will still lose your house, and your credit is still destroyed just because you’ve made 4-5 late payments on your mortgage.
Despite popular belief, A BANKTUPCY, FORECLOSURE, OR REPOSSESSION DO NOT HURT YOUR CREDIT AS MUCH AS THE MULTITUDE OF LATE PAYMENTS THAT OFTEN LEAD UP TO THEM!!!!! I just cannot stress this enough. People think that a bankruptcy damages their credit beyond repair in and of its own accord. I’ve had many clients file bankruptcy with 750 scores and no late payments only to have their score drop to 680. It’s the clients with 20+ late payments that are having their credit hurt.
A final note on how the short sale can come about… Most banks will not agree to a short sale in writing until you have a formal offer. You can simply call your bank and ask them if you could do a short sale at a certain price and they might say “sure, no problem, we’d be happy to facilitate that offer.” BEWARE. That doesn’t mean a thing. Before your short sale is APPROVED, you’ll have to submit an application, hardship letter, financial statements, tax returns, pay stubs, the purchase agreement from the buyer, a HUD statement from the pending transaction, payoff letters from all lenders involved, and several other things depending on the lender.
Once this huge packet of information is submitted to the lender, you will most likely hear back in 1-4 weeks on the TERMS of their “approval.” Be warned their approval will most likely be thinly disguised attempt to collect their debt and will almost never be the “write off” you were hoping for.
Investors
If you’re an investor, by now, I hope I’ve scared you off. Short sales are not some magic way for you to find properties under market value. They are a tool for sellers that owe too much on their homes to sell them at market value.
What you are looking for (or should be if you’re not) are sellers that owe far far less on their homes than what they’re worth. Sellers who don’t care how much they earn because they’re either desperate or have so many houses they don’t care.
Still if you see a house you want, there is one way that a short sale could come into play. Say there’s a distressed property that you’d pay 100k for that you know would be worth 180k if it was fixed up a bit. The seller doesn’t have the money to do it and the house is either vacant or they want out of their situation. In this case, if the seller happens to owe 130k (around there), and you will only pay 100k, AND the seller hasn’t had any viable offers because of the level of distress on the property, then a short might be just what the doctor ordered.
Don’t be unethical and take advantage of people. You’re only going for short sales if the person WANTS to sell their house and no one else but you will buy it because you’re not afraid to rehab a house that’s smells bad and is falling apart.
Conclusion
Again, a short sale is not a magic cure. It’s also not some mystical solution that only an elite few know about. If you’re curious about selling your house as a short sale, you should contact your lender and get information in writing. It’s usually not easy, and hardly ever will truly “win.” But in some cases, it can leave you much better off than the alternative of foreclosure and bankruptcy. If you’re an investor, there are much better ways to obtain undervalued homes.

SEO & Meta Tags
Every search engine uses it's own, very specific algorithm to index the websites. All major search engines keep updating their search algorithms quite frequently to give their searchers the best searching experience. Your website's place in the search result pages depends on it's calculation from the algorithm it follows. These algorithms are not changing everyday but are evolving into more intelligent and accurate. Yet, the major focus is on the Meta tags of the site.
These Meta tags are not visible when someone browses your web page but the search engines read these Meta tags alone and decide the place of a web page on its search result pages. It does so by finding the relevance of the Meta tags within them and with its contents. The most important Meta tags are the title, description and keywords. The first thing a search engine looks for is to find a relevance in these meta tags by looking at the keywords used in them and secondly it looks the relevance of the keywords used in these meta tags with the contents of the page.
The Title Tag
The title is the most important Meta tag of your website. This is the first thing shown on a web page and this is visible to both your visitor and most importantly to the search engine. That's why it has to be given the utmost importance while search engine optimization is the consideration.
It is always depicted on the left top bar of in the browser window. This tag should include the most relevant keyword about your business. If the most relevant keywords are used in here, your web site will sure get a boost in a search.
Most websites use their company name in the title which in fact, is not something desirable. Because, nobody usually searches for a company name unless it is very well known or some giant multinational.
The perfect title tags should be something between 10-70 characters. It is not so that one can not put a longer title but the search engine would ignore the longer part of the title.
The Title tag should be written for the visitors (people searching for your business or services) first and the search engines second. This should be such as to motivate a click and obviously to favor the search engine indexing too.
Different title tags should be assigned to each page of your website containing its own keywords that relate to that specific page.
Description tag
The description tag should be written in such way that it speaks about the website contents in just one or two sentences.
It should be short and clear that your visitors get a close idea about your site by reading this in a short time.
The description tag should be 100 to 200 characters long. The Meta description tag also has a great role in the SEO of your page. This tag displays the information at a search engine result page (SERP) after a search is performed by a user. So, this should be such as this puts the concise summary of your page. Most search engines truncate longer Description. Remember this while writing this tag.
Same as above every page should have a different description tag in accordance with the contents it holds. This tag has quite some effect on the ranking of your site in Search Engine results. The Search Engine will read your description tag and will check if the keywords or search terms match your title tag and content of your web site. My suggestion is to take the first sentence or two of the contents from your web page and use that for the Meta description content.
Include the most relevant sentences matching with the page contents in description tag instead of stuffing the tag with more keywords. Remember that the Meta Description Tag of a web page must not look just a bunch of keywords, but should contain an informative and concise summary of your web page.
Keywords Tag
The most heavily sought technique in Search Engine Optimization process is Keyword optimization. But at the same time if keywords are too often repeated, chances are that the site gets marked out as "spam". However, if your target keyword are not included enough, its ranking will not be optimized. So, with present algorithms which are really smart and intelligent include only those relevant keywords you want to target and make sure that these are included in the contents too.
Use variations of a keyword like watch, watches, wrist watch etc. They are slightly changed keywords and yet don't render any feeling to the search engine for their being repeated in the tag.
Geographical information (name of the country, city or place) may be used in the keywords. Sometimes it plays a great role when a search is made for a location based business. Or, even brand names, model name of a product can be used in this tag. That also helps when a search is made for a specific product model or brand.
Search engines give different weights to the keywords according to their positions in HTML tags used in the content. For example if a keyword is used in this tag which is present in Heading Tag also has more weight particularly when the same is in H1 tag.
Write your Alt tags of the images and the text links being used in the page such that it includes at least one keyword from the keyword tag. But, remember the same should look just relevant with the image or the hyper link for which it has been written.
The content should have included all of your keywords. The aggregate keyword density (all the keywords used in keyword tag) should be between 20% to 30% but not less than 5% to the best optimized results. However, Density for a single keyword should not be less than 2% and higher than 6%. The best is about 5% with the major keywords and 2% with subsequent keywords.
The Meta tags should be fine tuned with the contents and a good relevance is brought about between themselves with a perfect balance between the target audience and the search engines.
These Meta tags have been used really very un-carefully by the spammers, if we commit to use them methodically with the due respect, I hope, we should be able to create ever increasing web traffic on our sites.

The Real Deal of Obama's Home Buyer Tax Credit - Short Sale Education
The Obama Administration has passed "The Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act of 2009″ to offer First Time Home Buyers a Tax Credit up to $8000. This tax credit was set to expire in November of this year, but has been extended into 2010. With the high number of foreclosures and property listings requiring a bank approval via a short sale transaction, this tax credit has been a major factor in the increase of buyers in recent months.
This is good news because it means REOs and homes that are selling via a short sale will have an increasing number of buyers looking at these properties and the more of these properties that are sold and off the market the faster the housing market will stabilize. But who knows how long this ride will last. The one take away from this current trend is that Real Estate Agents should be looking and working short sale opportunities NOW, especially because buyers are back in the market. Imagine if an agent closed 1 purchase transaction a month, that would be 12 transactions per year. If they just focused 25% of their time to work short sale transactions, the agent could have an additional 3 transactions, totaling 15 for the year.
So what does this Tax Credit assistance really mean? Well, it certainly has been a reason for the increasing number of buyers the past month, but it also has caused a lot of confusion due to the changes in qualification guidelines from the previous tax credit program. So let's break it down and see what the deal is with this new extended Home Buyer Tax Credit program.
First of all, there are two qualifying home buyers for this tax credit. 1) first time home buyers purchasing as their primary/principal residence and 2) existing homeowners who are looking to move-up/repeat buying a primary/principal residence. Now let's look at the qualification guidelines for each type of home buyer.
1) First Time Home Buyer
Definition:
The definition of a first time home buyer is someone who has not owned a home for the 3 years prior to the home purchase. If married, this test of the definition will apply to both spouses. If one spouse qualifies under this definition and the other does not, the one that does qualify can claim the tax credit.
How Much:
Tax Credit up to $8000
How much tax credit you qualify for depends on your annual income and when you purchased the home.
If the home sale occurred after November 6, 2009, qualifying income limits are $125,000 for single taxpayers and $225,000 for married couples filing joint returns
.If the home sale occurred on or after Jan 1, 2009, qualifying income limits are $75,000 for single tax payers and $150,000 for married couples filing joint returns.
Qualified Purchase Dates:
Sale must occur on or after Jan 1, 2009 and on or before Apr 30, 2010. IF there is a binding sales contract that is signed on Apr 30th, 2009, the tax credit will still apply if the purchase is completed by Jun 30, 2010.
2) Existing Buyers (Repeat or Move Up Buyers)
Definition:
The definition of an existing buyer is as someone who has both owned and lived in the same residence for a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 years prior to buying a new home. This definition is test for married couples in order to define who gets tax credits, if any. The new home being purchase does not have to be more in value to qualify for the tax credit.
How Much:
Tax Credit up to $6500
How much you get is based on ten percent of the home purchase price and maxes out at $6500. Any home purchase $800K and over do not qualify for the tax credit.
Income qualification limits are $125,000 for single taxpayers and $225,000 for married taxpayers filing joint returns.
Qualified Purchase Dates:
Sale must occur on or after Nov 6, 2009 and on or before Apr 30, 2010. IF there is a binding sales contract that is signed on Apr 30th, 2009, the tax credit will still apply if the purchase is completed by Jun 30, 2010.
How the tax credit works
If you owe $8000 in income taxes and you receive $8000 for the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit, you would owe nothing to the IRS. It is a tax credit NOT a tax deduction.
